المكارثّية إنگليزية: McCarthyismcode: en is deprecated هي الممارسة التي تقوم على اتهام الناس بوجود صلة تربطهم بالمنظمات الشيوعية دون اثباتات كافية تدعم الادعاء . وقد دعيَت باسم جوسف مكارثي ( 1908 – 1967 ) وهو سناتور جمهوري عن ولاية وسكنسن الأمريكية .
