اليونانية (Greek ελληνικάcode: el is deprecated [eliniˈka] elliniká أو ελληνική γλώσσαcode: el is deprecated [eliniˈci ˈɣlosa]  ( listen) ellinikí glóssa)، هي فروع مستقل من عائلة الهندية الأوروبية للغات الأصلية في جنوب البلقان، غرب آسيا الصغرى، اليونان وإيجة، ولها أطول تاريخ موثق لأي لغة هندية-أوروبية أخرى، وسجلاتها المكتوبة تمتد على 34 قرن. نظام الكتابة المستخدم بها هو الأبجدية اليونانية، والذي استخدم في معظم فتراتها التاريخية؛ النظم الأخرى، مثل لينير بي، وCypriot syllabary، كانا يستخدمان في السابق.
