243 إيدا 243 Ida يقع ضمن حزام الكويكبات الواقع بين مدارى المريخ والمشتري. اكتشف نحو سنة 1884م وصورته گاليليو (مركبة فضائية) في 28 آب - أغسطس سنة 1993م.

يبلغ طول إيدا نحو 52 كيلو مترا ويدور حول نفسه مرة كل 4.6 ساعة وهو كويكب ممتلئ بالفوهات النيزيكية نتيجة الاصطدامات الحاصلة مع الكويكبات الأخرى الموجودة في حزام الكويكبات.
قمره ومداره
الجدير بالذكر أن للكويكب الصغير إيدا قمرا صغيرا أيضا يدور حوله.
