ضلع جمو هو أكبر تعداداً بين كل أضلع جمو وكشمير في الهند، وهو مقر العاصمة الشتوية جمو لإقليم جمو وكشمير. وتنتقل العاصمة إلى مدينة سري‌نگر في الصيف.[3]
