العواصم، كان مصطلح عربي يشير إلى الجانب المسلم من المنطقة الحدويدة بين الامبراطورية البيزنطية والخلافة الأموية والعباسية في قيليقية، شمال سوريا والجزيرة الفراتية. تأسست في أوائل القرن الثامن، مع أول موجة من الفتح الإسلامي، واستمرت حتى منتصف القرن العاشر، عندما اجتاحها التقدم البيزنطي.
