معاهدة شيمونوسكي بالإنجليزية Treaty of Shimonoseki ، (Japanese: 下関条約, "Shimonoseki Jōyaku") ، وتعرف أيضا بإسم معاهدة ماجوان (صينية تقليدية: 馬關條約code: zh is deprecated ; صينية مبسطة: 马关条约code: zh is deprecated ; پن‌ين: Mǎguān tiáoyuēcode: pny is deprecated ) وهي معاهدة وقعت في الصين في قاعة شنبانرو في 17 إبريل 1895 بين إمبراطور اليابان و ملك - إمبراطور الصين وبها إنتهت الحرب اليابانية الصينية الأولى. تمت معاهدة شيمونوسكي بناء على مؤتمر السلام الذي عقد في الفترة من 20 مارس - 17 إبريل 1895.

 شروط المعاهدة

• Article 1: China recognizes definitively the full and complete independence and autonomy of Korea, and, in consequence, the payment of tribute and the performance of ceremonies and formalities by Korea to China, that are in derogation of such independence and autonomy, shall wholly cease for the future.
• Articles 2 & 3: China cedes to Japan in perpetuity and full sovereignty of the Pescadores group, the island of Taiwan and the eastern portion of the bay of Liaotung together with all fortifications, arsenals and public property.
• Article 4: China agrees to pay to Japan as a war indemnity the sum of 200,000,000 Kuping taels
• Article 6: China opens Shashih, Chungking, Soochow and Hangchow to Japan. Moreover, China is to grant Japan most-favored-nation treatment.

وقد تمكنت المعاهدة من أن تنهي الحرب اليابانية الصينية الأولي وفيها تتنازل امبراطورية قينگ عن مطالبتها بكوريا وكذلك تتنازل لليابان عن الجزء الجنوبي من مقاطعة فنگتيين تايوان و جزر پسكادورس.

 قيمة التعويض

طبقا لبنود المعاهد كان على الصين أن تدفع قيمة التعويض لليابان بما يوازي 7.45 مليون كيلو جرام من الفضة.

وفيما بعد عندما إضطرت اليابان لترك فنزويلا لروسيا من أجل ميناء أرثر ، طلبت اليابان زيادة المبلغ ليصل الإجمالي لقيمة 8 مليون كيلو جرام من الفضة.
