سوماتوفولاكس

عملة Balacrus, سوماتوفولاكْس الإسكندر الأكبر، حين كان ساتراپ قيليقيا، مع الحرف "B" بجانب الدرع، اختصاراً لكلمة B[AΛAKPOI]. طرسوس. 333–323 ق.م..

سوماتوفولاكِس ( Somatophylakes ؛ باليونانية: Σωματοφύλακεςcode: el is deprecated ؛ المفرد: سوماتوفولاكْس somatophylax‏، σωματοφύλαξ) كانوا الحرس الشخصي لعلية القوم في اليونان القديمة.

أشهر تجسيدين للـسوماتوفولاكس كانا فيليپ الثاني المقدوني والإسكندر الأكبر. وقد تكونوا من سبعة رجال، مُنتقون من نبلاء مقدون، الذين عملوا أيضاً كضباط عظام، وتولوا مناصب قيادية بالجيش مثل general أو chiliarch. الإسكندر الأكبر appointed Peucestas كثامن سوماتوفولاكْس بعد حصار مالي.
