الأدِنوسين Adenosine هو نيوكليوسيد مكون من الأساس الآزوتي البوريني الأدينين المرتبط بسكر الريبوز الخماسي ، أما لدى ارتباط الأدينوزين بالفوسفات بعملية الفسفرة Phosphorylation فإنه يتحول إلى نكليوتيد يدخل في تركيب الدنا والرنا ويدعى في هذه المرحلة AMP أدينوزين مونو فوسفات Adenosine Mono phosphate
