عقاب روپل Rüppell's Vulture (Gyps rueppellii)، هو عقاب ضخم يعيش في الساحل الأفريقي في أفريقيا الوسطى. يوجد منه 30.000 طائر، وهو في حالة تناقص مستمرة بسبب فقدان الموئل وظروف بيئية أخرى.[2] ويحلق عقاب روپل إلى أعلى إرتفاع يمكن أن يصل إليه طائر في العالم، إذ يطير إلى إرتفاع 11.000 متر فوق مستوى سطح البحر.[3]
