تفاعل إضافة

فى الكيمياء تفاعلات الإضافة, هى أبسط التفاعلات العضوية حيث يتحد جزيئان أو أكثر لتكوين جزيء أكبر.

وهناك نوعان من الإضافة القطبية:

• إضافة محبة للإلكترونات.
• إضافة محبة للنواة

كما يوجد نوعان لتفاعلات الإضافة الغير قطبية:

• إضافة جذر حر.
• تفاعل تنظيم

تفاعلات الإضافة تنحصر على المركبات الكيميائية التى بها ذرات بروابط متعددة:

• الجزيئات التى بها روابط كربون-كربون ثنائية أو ثلاثية.
• الجزيئات التى بها روابط كربون-ذرة متغايرة ثنائية مثل C=O أو C=N.

تفاعلات الإضافة عكس تفاعلات الإستبعاد. ولوهلة, فإن تفاعل الإماهة للألكين, وتفاعلات نزع المياه من الكحول تعتبر زوج إضافة-إستبعاد.

Depending on the product structure, it could promptly react further to eject a leaving group to give the addition–elimination reaction sequence.

Addition reactions are useful in analytic chemistry, as they can identify the existence and number of double bonds in a molecule. For example, bromine addition will consume a bromine solution, resulting in a color change:

Likewise hydrogen addition often proceeds on all double-bonds of a molecule, and thus gives a count of the number of a double and triple bonds through stoichiometry:
