ليدي جين گراي (Grey Lady Jane) عاشت (1537-1554 م) هي ملكة إنكلترا (من 9 إلى 19 يوليو 1553 م)، ترجع في نسبها وعن طريق أمها إلى أخت الملك هنري الثامن، أجبرها دوق نورثمبرلند (Duke of Northumberland)، وهو صاحب نفوذ كبير في البلاط الملكي، على الزواج من ابنه، ليضمن خلافة بروتستانتية خالصة للعرش الملكي. ثم أكمل الدوق الجزء الثاني من خطته عندما استطاع إقناع الملك إدوارد السادس (Edward VI) وهو على فراش الموت، بتسمية "جين گراي" خليفة له. لم تستطع الملكة الجديدة الصمود لأكثر من تسعة أيام، فقد كانت القوات الموالية لماري، البنت الكبرى للملك الراحل، قد اقتحمت عليها القصر. تم القبض عليها ووضعت في السجن، إلا أنها كانت لا تزال تشكل خطرا على نظام الملكة "ماري تيودر" الكاثوليكي، فتقرر إعدامها.
