العجز في فيتامين B12 (وأيضاً Pernicious anemia أو Biermer's anemia ، Addison's anemia ، Addison–Biermer anemia) ناجم عن عدم كفاية المدخول الغذائي أو ضعف الاستيعاب. يمكن أن يمر دون أعراض كما يمكن أن يؤدي إلى فقر الدم.
