تابو
تابو أو taboo هي كلمة غير عربية تطلق على المحرمات وفق أعراف المجتمع أو السياسة أو ما شابه (وليس حتما وفق الشريعة التي يدين بها ذاك المجتمع)
كلمة taboo لغةً
النبر (أو ال- stress) في كلمة تابو هو على الباء وليس على التاء،فهي تلفظ كما تلفظ كلمة "تبوك" بدون كاف، ولا تلفظ ككلمة تابوا في قولك "المذنبون تابوا".
ويجمعها العامة "تابوهات" كأنهم تخيلوا أن الكلمة هي "تابوه"،بينما تسمح اللغة بجمعها "تابُوات" والله أعلم.
