أندرو ج. نيثن (صينية: 黎安友؛ پن‌ين: Lí Ānyǒu�؛ و. 3 أبريل 1943)، هو أستاذ العلوم السياسية في جامعة كلومبيا. وهو متخصص في السياسات، السياسة الخارجية، حقوق الإنسان، والثقافة السياسية الصينية.

 سيرته

التحق نيثن بجامعة هارڤرد، حيث حصل على بكالريوس في التاريخ، وماجستير في الدراسات الشرق آسيوية، والدكتوراه في العلوم السياسية. وهو مدرس في جامعة كلومبيا منذ عام 1971، ويعمل حالياً رئيس للجنة التوجيهية لحقوق الإنسان. كان رئيساً لقسم العلوم السياسية (2003-2006)، ورئيس معهد ويذرهيد لشرق آسيا (1991–1995).

وكان كذلك مستشار أو عضو مجلس ادارة بيت الحرية، حقوق الإنسان في الصين، الوقف الوطني للديمقراطية وهيومان رايتس واتش آسيا وعضو هيئة تحرير صحيفة الديمقراطية، تشاينا كوارترلي، وصحيفة الصين المعاصرة، وغيرها. اشتهر نيثن لمشاركته في تأليف أوراق تيان‌آن‌من، مع پري لينك.

حاز نيثن زمالة جائزة برلين 2013 في الأكاديمية الأمريكية في برلين.
