أسرة مذنبات

أسرة المذنبات comet family هى عدد من المذنبات قصيرة الدورة تقع نقاطها الأبعد عن الشمس بالقرب من مدارات الكواكب العملاقة وخاصة كوكب المشتري . تتكون اسرة المذنبات نتيجة قوة جاذبية الكواكب التى تحدث اضطرابا في مدار المذنبات حين تمر قريبة منها.
