باگوا (الصينية: 八卦، إنگليزية: Bagua)، أو پاكوا، نشأ في الصين، وهو يتألف من ثمانية رموز تستخدم في علم الكونيات الطاوي لتمثيل المبادئ الأساسية للواقع، ينظر إليه على أنها مجموعة من ثمانية مفاهيم مترابطة. يتكون كل سطر من ثلاثة أسطر، كل سطر إما "مكسور" أو "غير منقطع"، يمثل على التوالي يين أو يانگ، 0 أو 1 يشكلان أرقامًا ثنائية من 000 إلى 111 والتي تعادل الأرقام الثمانية من 0 إلى 7. نظرًا لتركيبها الثلاثي، غالبًا ما يشار إليها باسم "ثلاثية الأشكال الثمانية" Eight Trigrams.
