معركة أگوردات الثانية، دارت في أواخر ديسمبر 1892، بين القوات الاستعمارية الإيطالية والقوات المهدية من السودان. قاد الأمير أحمد علي حملة على القوات الإيطالية في شرق السودان والتي ضمت 10-12.000 مقاتل إلى شرق كسلا. اشتبكت هذه القوات مع 2.4000 إيطالي والعساكر الإرتريين التابعين له عند أگوردات، غرب أسمرة، تحت قيادة الكلونيل أريموندي.[2] سقط أثناء القتال ما يزيد عن 1.000 درويش، من بينهم الأمير.[3][5] وأعتبرت المعركة أنها:[9]
"...أول نصر حاسم يحرزوه الأوروپيين على الثوار المهديين..."
في العام التالي، استولى القوات الاستعمارية الإيطالية على كسلا.
