ألكسندر بين Alexander Bain (عاش اكتوبر 1811 - 2 يناير 1877) مخترع وساعاتي اسكتلندي. قام باختراع الساعة الكهربائية، كما قام بتركيب خط تلغراف على طول السكة الحديدية بين إدنبرة وگلاسگو.
