Khaled A Zed has distinguished himself in a career that has spanned advanced scientific research , international business talented and the presidency of Consulting Engineering in Japan, one of the premier firm of finance and engineering consulting in the world severed in more than 49 countries in developing infra structure, Telecommunication, Railways, Civil, Waste management, Water projects, etc.. After earning a B.S. in Electrical Computer Engineering from the Cairo University. He then obtain a Master scholarship of Math Faculty of Art Science FAS at Harvard University in 1981, and Doctorate from School of Electrical Computer Engineering E.C.E from Boston University 1983. Dr. Zed, was an Applied Mathematics postdoctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology MIT at Massachusetts where he has earned another Ph.D in 1986. He was responsible for technology transferring program to Japan and Korea, joined the Scientific staff at the IBM Harbor Laboratory in New York and moved to Japan for developing the first Japanese C & C Computer jointly with IBM Japan. Dr. Zed, also served as vice President for Motorola Japan partner with AMS ( Advanced Mobile Satellite) jointly with NEC and NTT ( Nippon Telecommunication and Telephone ) to shape emerging national telecommunication policy on Information technology and next-generation manufacturing of the first PHS ( Personal Handy Systems) late on Mobile systems- first mobile in Japan. Having represented Global Star 48 Satellite in Japan , enabled him to have wide diversity of world knowledge. In keeping with MIT’s , IBM and Motorola entrepreneurial spirit and signature strength in working with diversified industries, he has to earn another Doctoral degree in International Business Management in 1996- online as the first Internet online educational programming was successfully established by where he served as a vice president actively fostered the burgeoning Kendall Square innovation cluster, which features both global giants and biotech, IT and energy start-ups with roots at MIT and Motorola Japan/USA. A member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and a member AMC ( American Math Center) and a Scientific Senior advisor to Japan Science and Technology - and National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology- Photonics Research Institute. He serves as a Special Advisor to the Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology and Technology Policy 2007. Advisor for JICA & JBIC with Yachiyo Engineering Consulting handling two main mega projects 1 Nile River rehabilitations and Semiconductors back-end manufacturing to Malaysia and Germany1997-2008. Leading Global professional Engineering Consulting firm,Japan blue planet partners with several Governments, Private Sectors, World funding donors & Banks, Universities, Scientists and R&D labs in Japan & USA, delivering and devising projects solutions, and new innovation technology. Attending TICAD- Yokohama 3 consecutive for transferring technology and environmental project to Africa. Recently jointly working with NASA -USA Ames center California for Biofuel project to Japan, Korea and China.
