Everyone aspires to be a professional or expert Visual Basic programmer, which is something that does not come overnight and is not an easy matter.  Many programmers have spent more than decades on the keyboard, yet they are still beginners because of the little experience they have.

But to achieve this, start with the basics. Learn how to program by reading introductory books, which are considered the primary introduction to programming in Visual Basic.

Explore all the essential features available in the language.

Test the examples that come with Visual Basic or downloadable programs from various programming sites on the Internet.

Depending on the time it takes to learn the basics, it may take several months to become a competitive programmer.  But you must learn advanced details in the field of Visual Basic, such as client/server programming, database programming, the integrated development environment itself (such as Add-Ins), API programming procedures, and advanced books and practical examples may benefit you.

Tamer Mostafa (programmer, computer engineering, Ain Shams University, 24 years old) points out that any professional Visual Basic programmer may need a year to master all previous skills and experiences.  If he succeeds in this, he will become a professional programmer and a real expert.

This does not mean - according to Mustafa - that you have reached the finish line, but rather the conscious programmer must learn another programming language such as Delphi, C++...

It is very strange that you find many people engaging in great discussions and controversy to prove what is the best programming language.  It is actually a waste of time;  Because you can do anything in any programming language.

He continues that all programming languages have something different to offer, and each language is excellent at accomplishing certain tasks and bad at trying to accomplish other tasks.  Therefore, every programmer must learn the strengths and weaknesses of each language and compare them with the programming language he masters.

According to Mustafa, if one programming language has a strength in accomplishing a task that is a weakness in another language, and by learning different programming languages you will see the common samples they offer.  You will also know how to add features available in the other language to your programming language.  It is able to transfer techniques from one language to another in order to cover its weak points.  Only in this case will you have become a true programming expert!

However, you must keep in mind that the programming profession has problems like other professions in our Arab region, most notably the lack of demand for the job in some Arab countries. Programmer Hisham Suleiman attributes this to the weakness of the software industry and the relative lack of development of the Arab business community in a way that allows for increased  Demand on computer.
