كلارينت أو اليراعةىهي آلة نفخ في الجوقة الموسيقية. معظم آلات الكلارينت مصنوعة من الخشب. تتكون هذه الآلة من أنبوبة في أحد طرفيها فم، وفي الطرف الآخر فتحة على شكل جرس. ويوجد في الكلارينت فتحات مفرغة للأصابع، وفتحات أخرى مغطاة ذات أذرع معدنية صغيرة، تسمى المفاتيح. يضع العازف أطراف أصابعه على الفتحات والمفاتيح، وينفخ في قصبة مزمار مسطحة، مثبته في الفم. وتهتز القصبة فتعطي نغماً كاملاً غنيًا. ويعزف العازف أنغامًا مختلفة عن طريق تغطية الفتحات المختلفة أو تعريتها. ويُصنَع الكلارينيت بخمس مقامات للصوت، أكثرها شيوعًا السبرانو المسطح.

أصل هذه الآلة قديم جداً. يرجعه بعضهم إلى الحضارة المصرية القديمة، وبعضهم الآخر إلى آلة موسيقية قديمة عُرفت باسم شاليمو Chalumeau. وتطور تصنيعها بالتعديلات التي أدخلها عليها عام 1700 صانع الآلات الألماني يوهان كريستوف دينر Johann Christopher Denner من نورمبرغ نحو عام 1700م، ولكنها لم تحتل مكانتها في «الأوركسترا» إلا بعد ثمانين عاماً على يد موتسارت Mozart، ثم طرأت عليها تعديلات أخرى عام 1839، عندما طبق عليها كلوزيه Klose نظام المفاتيح الذي اخترعه بويم Boehm ليصلح به نظام الأصابع في آلة الفلوت الناي Flute..[1]

The Construction of a Clarinet (Oehler system)

آلة نفخ خشبية من ذوات الريشة الواحدة single reed، وهذه الريشة تصنع من القصب وتثبت على مبسم الآلة الثخين والمشطوف ميلاً، والثخن يزداد شيئاً فشيئاً ليشمل أنبوب الآلة كله، والأنبوب يتألف من قطع عدة، تتداخل في بعضها بعضاً لتكون أنبوب الآلة الذي يصل طوله إلى 66سم.
