This template is for use with Philippine (Philippine and Spanish) names that use non-Western European characters, but which are commonly transliterated in plain English characters (e.g. "ñ" simplified to "n"). The article is often but not always named with the Western European simpification, but sometimes vice versa. This template is suitable for either case.

Usage example (note that the correct spelling is entered first):

  هذا الاسم يستخدم تقاليد التسمية الفلپينية. لقب عائلة الأم هو Peñalosa و اسم العائلة هو Penalosa.
• {{Philippine name|de la Cruz}} →
  هذا الاسم يستخدم تقاليد التسمية الفلپينيةfor natural children. There is no middle name nor paternal family name, but the surname or maternal family name is de la Cruz.
• {{Philippine name|Peñalosa|Penalosa|de la Cruz}} →
  هذا الاسم يستخدم تقاليد التسمية الفلپينية for married women. The birth middle name or maternal family name هو Peñalosa, the birth surname or paternal family name is Penalosa, and the marital name is de la Cruz.

Note: Not all Filipino married women use this variant of naming standards.

  هذا الاسم يستخدم تقاليد التسمية الفلپينية. الاسم الأوسط، Mohammad، هو لقب عائلة الأب، وليس اسم عائلة الأب، و matronymic هو Ali.

Note: Early Filipinos and some Filipino Muslims use this variant of naming standards.

  هذا الاسم يستخدم تقاليد التسمية الفلپينية for indigenous people. There is no maternal family name nor paternal surname, but the sole name is Humabon.
