الريف الأسود Black Country ـ منطقة في إنجلترا تشمل ستافُوردشاير الجنوبية، وهرفُورد الشمالية، و ووستَر وجزءًا من المناطق الوسطى الغربية. وتُوجد بالمنطقة مناجم للفحم الحجري ومسابك للحديد، ومصانع للفولاذ. وتشرف برمنجهام على المنطقة. وتقع في المنطقة أيضًا مدن ولفرهامبتون، وولسال وبرمويتش الغربية، وددلي ووارلي. جاءت تسمية الريف الأسود من دخان الصناعات الأسود فيه.
