حياته

كان سوك الطالب المفضل لديفورجاك في التأليف الموسيقي في كونسرفتوار براج. في سن 18 انضم للرباعي الوتري التشيكي المعروف كعازف كمان ثاني وعازف اكثر من 4000 حفلا معه. بعد نشر عمل سرينادة للوتريات بناء على توصية من برامز صار مؤلف تشيكي رائد. كان سوك يجد نفسه مع موسيقى الآلات لكنه عكس دفورجاك لم يتأثر بالموسيقى الشعبية. تطور أسلوبه من الرومانسية الغنائية الى لغة اعقد واكثر فردية مع حس رائد للون. عمله Asrael Symphony احد افضل اعماله.
