حياته

ولد ليادوف في اسرة موسيقية لكنه لم يكمل اي من اعمال كبيرة. كان موهوبا لكن كسول نوعا ما فطرد من فصول ريمسكي كورساكوف لتعليم التاليف الموسيقي بسبب عدم انتظام الحضور وكان يضيع اجازات الصيف في المنزل الريفي الخاص بزوجته وأهمل تفويض دياجليف له بكتابة عملThe Firebird الذي كتبه سترافنسكي. الكثير من مقطوعاته توزيعات لاغنيات شعبية جمعت من مختلف انحاء روسيا واحضر تلوين اوركسترالي حيوي وسمة واضحة لهذه المقطوعات الصغيرة. تعاون مع ريمسكي كورساكوف وبلاكيريف واعتبره طالبه بروكفييف محبوب لكن متحذلق.
