جنوب إيجة South Aegean (باليونانية: Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίουcode: el is deprecated )، هي واحدة من 13 منطقة في اليونان. وتتكون من مجموعة جزر كيكلادس ودوديكانيسيا في وسط وجنوب شرق بحر إيجة.

التقسيمات الادارية

تأسست منطقة جنوب إيجة في الاصلاح الإداري لسنة 1987. وبمقتضى خطة كاليكراتس 2010، فإن سلطاتها أعيد تعريفها وتمديدها. فمع منطقة شمال إيجة، فإنها تدار بإدارة لامركزية لبحر إيجة، مقرها في پيرايوس. تقع عاصمة المنطقة في إرموپولي على جزيرة سيروس. The administrative region includes 50 inhabited islands, including the popular tourism destinations of Mykonos, Santorini and Rhodes.^[3]

حتى اصلاح كاليكراتس، تكونت المنطقة من مقاطعتي كيكلادس (وعاصمتها: إرموپولي) و دوديكانيسيا (وعاصمتها: رودس). منذ 1 يناير 2011 أصبحت تنقسم إلى 13 وحدة محلية، تشكلت حول الجزر الرئيسية:^[4]

The Gross domestic product (GDP) of the province was 6.4 billion € in 2018, accounting for 3.5% of Greek economic output. GDP per capita adjusted for purchasing power was 22,400 € or 74% of the EU27 average in the same year. The GDP per employee was 79% of the EU average. South Aegean is the region in Greece with the second highest GDP per capita.^[5]
