پتيولا كلارك Petula Clark, CBE (وُلِدت بإسم سالي أولوِن كلارك Sally Olwen Clark، ‏15 نوفمبر 1932) هي مغنية وممثلة وملحنة بريطانية، امتد نشاطها عبر عقود من الزمان.

Clark's professional career began as an entertainer on BBC Radio during الحرب العالمية الثانية. During the 1950s she started recording in French and having international success in both French and English, with such songs as "The Little Shoemaker", "Baby Lover", "With All My Heart" and "Prends Mon Cœur". During the 1960s, she became known globally for her popular upbeat hits, including "Downtown", "I Know a Place", "My Love", "A Sign of the Times", "I Couldn't Live Without Your Love", "Colour My World", "This Is My Song" and "Don't Sleep in the Subway", and she was dubbed "the First Lady of the British Invasion". She has sold more than 68 million records.[1]

حياتها

بدأت كلارك الغناء في سن السابعة في فرقة أطفال، وفيما بعد أيضا في الإذاعة الإنجليزية البي بي سي. في هذا الوقت تقدمت إلى نجمة أطفال وقامت بأدوار تمثيلية بالفعل إلى غاية عام 1950 في عشرين فيلم. أصبحت في إنجلترا نجمة العالم وقامت بجولات إلى مختلف دول العالم.

في عام 1962 أصبحت كلارك معروفة وذو شعبية في ألمانيا. حصلت على المرتبة الأولى من خلال أغنيتها (السيد)، كما أنها غنت أيضا باللغة الألمانية، وباعت أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين قرص.

في عام 1961 تزوجت بتيولا مع الصحفي الفرنسي كلود وولف ورزقا بثلاثة أطفال. حصلت عام 1998 على وسام رتبة الإمبراطورية البريطانية.
