ظربان مرقط marbled polecat The (V. peregusna) هو حيوان ثديي صغيرة ينتمي لجنس ال[monotypic]] Vormela في فصيلة Mustelinae . «Vormela هو في [اللغة الألمانية كلمة Würmlein، تعني "دودة صغيرة". مصطلح peregusna يأتي من pereguznya، وهو اللغة الأوكرانية يعني الظربان. و توجد عموما الظربان الرخامي في المناطق العشبية في جنوب شرق أوروبا غرب الصين. ومثل سائر أعضاء Mustelinae، يمكن أن تنبعث منها رائحة قوية من إفراز الحويصلات الشرج تحت الذيل عندما تتعرض للتهديد والخطر.
