تشارلز برنتون هگنز (23 سبتمبر 1901 -12 يناير 1997)، هو طبيب كندي المولد الأمريكية وفيزيولوجي وباحث في مرض السرطان في جامعة شيكاغو متخصص في سرطان البروستاتا. وحصل على جائزة نوبل في الطب لاكتشافه أن هرمون يمكن أن يستخدم للسيطرة على انتشار بعض أنواع السرطان. ويعد هو الإكتشاف الأول الذي يظهر إمكانية السيطرة على السرطان عن طريق المواد الكيميائية.
