ولد في بروكلن في الولايات المتحدة لأم تعمل مدرسة و أب يعمل مهندس كهربائي و يدين بالديانة اليهودية و أنتقلت عائلته في وقت لاحق إلى مدينة مانشستر


بدايته

بدأ العمل في مهنة التمثيل في أواخر ثمانينات القرن الماضى كان أول دور ناجح له في فيلم Going Overboard عام 1989 و شارك في فيلم Billy Madison عام 1995 ثم شارك في أفلام كوميدية ناجحة مثل Bulletproof و Happy Gilmore عام 1996 و The Wedding Singer عام 1998 ثم أتبعهم بفيلم كوميدى/رعب Very Bad Things عام 1998 ثم أول أفلامه الناجحة The Waterboy عام 1998

حياته الشخصية

في 22 يونيه 2002 تزوج بـ جاكلين ثامنتا تايتون وأنجبا سادى ماديسون ساندلر في 6 مايو 2006 في لوس أنجلوس وهو يعيش حاليا في لوس أنجلوس وله منزل في نيويورك.
