11°00′51″S 37°12′24″W / 11.014127°S 37.206638°W In colonial style construction, with strong Moorish influence, probably from the XIX century, the Balcão Corrido Loft is another monument protected by the Institute of Historical and Artistic National Heritage declared since 1943. Its structure has a counter decorated by sculpted wood in volute decoration. Although there's a predominance of taipa in its construction, there is the usage of stone and brick masonry on the frontispiece and some pillars.
