The route to Everest starts up the long hazardous and circuitous Khumbu icefall to Camp 1. Where's Waldo? If you look closely at the picture and with a bit of zooming, you can spot groups of climbers descending through the Khumbu icefall down from Camp 1 to Base Camp. At this time of the year, climbers were doing acclimatization runs between BC, Camp 1 and Camp 2. |
