English: American electrical engineer George C. Southworth of Bell Telephone Laboratories, who in 1933 helped invent the waveguide, a metal pipe that carries radio waves. He is standing in front of two experimental prototype waveguide lines that were used in some of the original research on waveguide modes in the 1930s. He is holding a microwave cavity resonator. |

Search of the Renewals for Periodicals for 1970, 1971, and 1972 show no renewal entries for Radio-Craft. Therefore the copyright was not renewed and it is in the public domain. |
