English: GoingWild(www.goingwild.in) has arranged a trip to Ladakh, the valley of cold desert in the month of August 2013. This image has been photographed during that trip from Jispa, a place in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Photographed species is Carduelis carduelis caniceps, a kind of Goldfinch mostly found in Southern central Asia.
