Description
English: The Codex Egberti is a manuscript owned by the Treasury of Trier - and an example of Ottonian illumination. Enthroned Egbert of Holland, Archbishop of Trier receives the Codex from the monks Kerald and Heribert from Reichenau Island. Frontispiece of the Codex Egberti: "Egbertus" is inscribed at the top.
