April 28th, 2023 4:00PM High of 73 degrees Fahrenheit Low of 54 degrees Fahrenheit 71 degrees Fahrenheit at capture On a day which was mostly cloudy, save for a couple of hours around noon, I found myself on another Southwest-facing complex of dolomite glades. While I scanned ledges for coachwhips, a friend called out that he flipped a milk. This attractive snake was under a medium sized flat rock surrounded by grass, but otherwise in the open. The snake was very flighty upon capture and it took a while to get pictures. After it was released the snake crawled into a nearby ledge and disappeared. Washington County, Missouri |
