| Description | The Herbert D. Katz Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at 420 Walnut Street between S. 4th and S. 5th Street in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia was built in 1988 and was designed by the firm of Geddes Brecher Qualls& Cunningham. Originally founded in 1911 as Dropsie College, a grant from Walter F. Annenberg enabled them to move to their current headquarters, and to their affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania.
