| Description |
Balkans Rail Trip, Autumn 2013 - Day Six End of the journey, but not quite end of the line. Earlier in 2013, services were extended through to Merdare on a once a day basis. The line did continue further on to Pristina now the capital of Kosovo, however due to ongoing tensions with Serbia both rail links remain closed. on 28 September 2013 711.013 is ready to work train 7830, 11:30 Merdare to Niš. I took this back to Kuršumlija where I continued (by bus) to Kralejvo. |
