The mausoleum dates from 1637, and is located in Shahdara Bagh in Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. 2. Jahangir got ill & doctors advised Him to stay at low temperature area i.e Kashmir, Some say that after the discovery of this news, Queen Nur Jahan Drove on a Horse, went to Kashmir & Brought her Love back, She Drove the Horse like a Man & built this Garden. 3. Just Imagine King Jahangir & Queen Nur jahan spent the rest of their days capturing the very sight every day... 4. The tomb was the result of Queen Nur jahan vision & Love for Her King. 5. The tomb is currently on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage status. |
