حياته

اشتهر بالمجرين لموسيقاه واسعة النطاق والتصويرية للبيانو: كتب خمسة كونشرتات رقم 2 حقق نجاحا دوليا في وقته واكثر من 250 مقطوعة صولو. الاعمال تعكس روح قوية للحالة النفسية والصور كان بالمجرين عازف بيانو بارع وعرف مباشرة كيف يستخدم امكانيات الآلة. بعد مشوار مبكر في قيادة الاوركسترا الخاصة بالجمعية الكورالية للطلاب الفنلدنيين ركز على العزف وتجول بشكل واسع في انحاء اوروبا وامريكا. لاخر 15 سنة من حياته درس في أكاديمية سبيليوس في هلنسكي.
