فرج
الفرج هو الجزء الخارجي للجهاز التناسلي الانثوي ، في الإنسان يتكون من الشفرة العليا والشفرة السفلى والبظر وغطاء البظر و وفتحة المهبل وفتحة المبول .

التركيب
العادات والتقاليد
- في المجتمع الغربي ( خاصة الولايات المتحدة ) يتم حلق او ازالة الشعر كليّاً من منطقة الفرج والشرج ، وهذه عادة مأخوذة من وسط وشرق اوروبا وتُفعل من أجل النظافة الشخصية. كما ان ارتداء ملابس السباحة طالما دفع بالنساء إلى حلق المناطق الظاهرة من ملابس السباحة أو الحلق التام .
- في الإسلام ، لا طالما قام الرجال والنساء بإزالة الشعر تحت ذراعهم ،و هذا ليس فرض ولكنه مستحب ، وعادة ما يتم عن طريق الحلاقة أو الازالة ويعتبر طريقة للتنظيف والمحافظة على النظافة. ولنفس الاسباب ، يمكن تطبيق هذه العادة إلى الشعر حول الفرج او الشرج ، وذلك للنظافة الشخصية ، حيث أن النظافة التامة تبعد الشخص عن القذارة ( النظافة من الإيمان ) ، كما وصفها المُنجّد، شيخ محمد صالح ( 27 يونيو 2004) . Symptoms of vulvar cancer include itching, a lump or sore on the vulva which doesn't heal and/or goes larger, and sometimes discomfort/pain/swelling in the vulval area. Treatments include vulvectomy – removal of all or part of the vulva.
